Location: Ferryhill, County DurhamSalary: GBP17,472.40 pa, DOEContract: Permanent, Full timeHours: 35 per week

Support Workers / Lifestyle Co–ordinators – About the Role:

Oaklea’s Supported Living Project in Ferryhill, provides care and support to people with learning disabilities.

In your role, you will support customers with a wide variety of needs and aspirations and work with our organisational values as we strive to encourage independence.

Working hours will include days, evenings and weekends. Sleep–in shifts are also part of the working week.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Enjoy variety within your role and have a flexible approach to working.• Be proactive in your role and enjoy accessing the community with people you support.

You will be required to work closely with a small team and you must be confident in communicating with people who may who may have challenges communicating with you.

Support Workers / Lifestyle Co–ordinators – What We Need from You:

Personal care support is a requirement of this role and also a personalised approach to those in your care. Mandatory training is also a requirement of your role.

You do not need to be experienced, but it is essential that you share our values. You must have a positive attitude and want to improve the lives of people with a learning disability.

We will support you with progression opportunities throughout your career with us.An Enhanced DBS will be required for each successful candidate (Paid for by Oaklea, T&Cs apply)
